I’m a Philadelphia-based psychotherapist for anxiety, relationship patterns, and what gets in the way of feeling fully yourself.
I provide online therapy to adults in Philadelphia and throughout Pennsylvania, a relational, depth-oriented approach that helps you understand the patterns underneath anxiety, relationship struggles, and the feeling that you’ve been holding yourself back.
With over 20 years of experience as a licensed psychotherapist and art therapist, I work with people who want more than symptom relief. Sessions are primarily conversational, focused on making real sense of what’s shaped you — so that change feels lasting rather than surface-level.
When it’s useful, I also draw on art therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic awareness to help things land in a deeper way. But these are tools, not the centerpiece — the work begins with you and what you bring.
A Relational, Depth-Oriented Approach
Most of my sessions look like good therapy — we talk. We explore what’s happening in your life, your relationships, and the patterns that keep showing up. That conversation is the foundation of the work.
What I bring that’s less common is a background that goes beyond talk therapy. Depending on what feels useful, I may draw on:
- Art therapy — using creative expression to access feelings or experiences that are hard to put into words
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) — sometimes called ‘parts work,’ a way of understanding the different voices or patterns within yourself
- Somatic awareness — paying attention to what’s happening in the body, which often holds what the mind hasn’t fully processed yet
- Psychodynamic and relational approaches — understanding how early experiences and relationships shape the present
You don’t need any experience with art or creative work. I bring these in when they seem like they’d open something up — never as a requirement. If you’d rather just talk, that’s completely fine.
What I Help With
Many clients in Philadelphia come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected.

Another Way In: Art Therapy as a Tool
Most of our work together will be conversational. But sometimes talking circles the same ground without quite breaking through — and that’s where art therapy can offer something different.
As a Board Certified Registered Art Therapist℠ (ATR-BC®), I can bring creative expression into our sessions when it seems like it might open something up. This doesn’t require any artistic skill or experience — it might be as simple as sketching something, choosing colors, or making a collage. The point isn’t the product. It’s using the process to access something that words haven’t reached yet.
If you’re curious about art therapy, we can explore it together. If you’d rather just talk, that’s completely fine too. It’s always an invitation, never a requirement.
